Lily and Zoey

As I was getting Lily ready for bed tonight, we took a few moments to play with the puppy, Zoey. Zoey is very good with Lily - she tries to be gentle but seeing how she is only 1 year old herself, she has a lot of energy and we need to be very careful when she is around Lily. Lily is beginning to take more notice of both the cat and dog. She has a very tight grip and has pulled hair from both the animals on occasion. We want Lily to be very comfortable around both animals and have appreciation and respect for them so we let her play with them to get used to each other. I guess Zoey thought that Lily needed a little bath tonight and gave her a few big kisses! It was very cute! Thankfully, Lily went right off to sleep tonight - some nights she fights it with all the energy she has left from the day. Sweet dreams to Lily!
