Lily's New Carseat!

Lily has graduated to a "big girl" carseat! The infant carrier is more convenient but she has become too big! We bought her new seat from Sears after much debate and looking around and are pretty happy with the decision. This seat is called a combination convertible seat since it will have multiple uses over the years. It is good up to 100 pounds so we are hoping to get our moneys worth! The seat works as a regular carseat with all the attachments in place and right now, will stay rear facing until she is a year old. Once she gets older, the base can come off and the seat can be used as a high back booster. Then, when she no longer needs the high back but just a regular booster instead, the base comes off to use as a booster! Plus, it has a cup holder attached to the base as well! In the picture, the base is off - we were just wanting to get her in it and measured for where the straps need to be, etc. Jody worked very hard at getting it installed into my car - Lily went to sit in it for a "test seating" and she seemed to like it. Hopefully she will be very comfy for all the driving we do.
