A Year Ago Today...

Today is Lily's actual birthday - 5:24am this morning to be exact. Where has this year gone? Lily has grown so much and developed such a unique personality which is sure to challenge her Mommy and Daddy over the years! She has a pretty good vocabulary and says "mamma", "dadda", "doggie", "all gone", "all done" and makes a ton of other babbling noises which she thinks is real talking. She can wave "hi" and "bye", blows kisses and gives hugs which are sure to melt any heart. She has two bottom teeth and is presently working on the top two. She loves the doggie and can be caught feeding Zoey every chance she gets. She crawls like crazy and can pull up and cruise around everything. She has taken 2 steps on a couple of different occasions so I am sure that walking will be coming soon. She has mastered the art of crawling up the stairs and tries to "sneak" off to get at them when given the opportunity. We are still working on solids but she has tried many different varities of foods. We are still nursing and are in no real hurry to give that up, but we are trying some Soy milk throughout the day which Lily seems to be enjoying. Both Jody and I are enjoying this stage so much - it makes me a little sad to think that my little baby will soon be considered a toddler. Oh well, new days, new challenges and tons to be thankful for.
